Instead of listing a million excuses let’s just pretend I just did that here.
I realized that I need a goal. My first big goal on this journey was the cruise (which I was return from 1 year ago). I thought I could continue with this fitness quest without a goal. Turns out not so much. So I made a goal for Heather’s wedding. It was serious too. I had to fit in that dress!! So I made it. I fit. Since then I’ve been eating like it’s my last day on Earth. For like a month. WTF brain?! Ok then let’s regroup and find another goal to work towards.
Today I realized it’s about 12 weeks to my 30th Bday. That’s a pretty serious milestone.
Like seriously SERIOUS.
What do I want to feel like on my 30th Bday?
I want to be able to like the photos I’m in. That seems fair. That seems doable. I’ve been there before.
Ok well how should I get there? Because recently my work/life balance hasn’t been so balanced. I’ve been spending a lot of time at work. Ok. Well that means I don’t have a whole lot of control over what’s for lunch or dinner. But there is a gym at work. One which I haven’t used often enough. Ok… ok… So I’ll go back to the roots of this here blog and go back to finding what fitness means to me. When I’m in my fitness zone the good eating comes naturally for me.
Blah blah blah… cutting to the chase. Couch 2 5K for my 30th B-day.
I’d love to hear your C25k advice. I need an app for my phone (either Android or iPhone… I have access to both.) I need websites where I can find advice/help for running. I need to know where I might fail so that when I come across that I can overcome it. Do you have any advice?
