Weigh In Week #6 and #7

I was out of town last week for work so I didn’t get to weigh in. So here’s a 2 week weight in:

  • Starting weight:  199
  • Last week’s weight:   193.0
  • Current weight:  190.6
  • Difference: -2.4
  • Total lost: -8.4
Lost 1 WW PP+ a day with that loss. It’s bitter sweet. I love losing. I understand the science behind eating less when you weigh less. I just don’t like the eating less part. ANYWAYS…. Getting ready to break into the 180’s!! Bring it!

  • Current weight:  193.0
  • Difference: +0.4
  • Total lost: -6.0
Well that’s really disappointing. But it’s also really no surprise. When I don’t track and I don’t exercise I shouldn’t expect good results. 
I’ve been feeling pretty crappy from a sickness. I think that lack of exercise since I couldn’t breath really affected my mood and I got really depressed over the last few days. I even stopped doing yoga, which I love and can easily and immediately see the results from. 
I know what works. I know what I need to succeed. Back on the smart train this week. Already did my walk today.

    Weight Watcher Anniversary

    April 8th, 2008 is the day I started this journey. I had started diets before. But this is when I looked at it as a sustainable life change. Where I started Finding Fit. When I found Tumblr. When I began to surprise myself with what *I* was capable of accomplishing.

    On April 8th, 2008 I weighed 229.8lbs.

    Today, April 8th 2011 I weigh 192.8lbs.

    I’ve weighed less than I do today in the last 3 years. But today we’re not focusing on that. Today we’re focusing and celebrating that in the last 3 years I took charge of my health. I’ve lost 37lbs in 3 years. I’ve started bicycling. I look forward to sweating. I purposefully decline dessert. I take care of myself.

    Ok now I think I understand  why alcohol is discouraged while on diets. After 3 drinks all I wanted to do was EAT ALL THE THINGS! So I only half of ALL THE THINGS!

    Week 1… Again

    For serious this time.

    I joined WW once again.

    I’m still on my Couch to 5K journey but since the holidays took over that sort of fell by the way side.

    My sister is getting married in May. This is her 2nd wedding and I’m DETERMINED to look just as cute and fit as she does!

    I want to see what it feels like to have the scale start with a 17. I don’t remember a time in my life that I’ve seen that. Ever. 180 has consistently been this barrier for me.

    This time I feel like I have the plan in place and my eyes on the right prize. This is the first time I’ve every started out incorporating exercise into my plan. That, I think, must be the key.

    So here we are. My first WIW of 2011. My first WIW of this phase of the journey. At least I keep coming back. At least I keep trying.
